Donna Frias began her dancing career as a young child. As a teen she became a member of the Fresno Civic Ballet Co. and performed with the Fresno Opera Association.
She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts. There she was hand picked to be in Bella Lewitzky’s Dance Co. This lead to tours all over the U.S. and abroad. Donna performed for the Civic Light Opera, Dorthy Chandler PAvilion in Los Angeles, Madison Square Gardens in New York City and also performed in several television specials. She traveled all over the United States, Europe, and Australia performing with Los Gauchos Latinos with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
After settling in Las Vegas in 1995, Donna opened her first dance studio, Desert Shores Dance Academy, which remained successful for over 12 years. In 2007 she decided to move locations and expand her business. She is now proud to present The Pointe Dance Center.
Donna has been selected to be the permanent substitute for The Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts where several of her students attend.
Originally from Las Vegas, Michelle Mota began her dance training at the age of two years old at Desert Shores Dance Academy (owned by Donna Frias). During her elementary and middle school years, she competed on the Desert Shores Dance Academy (now known as The Pointe Dance Center) advanced competition team and won many first place awards in competitions around the West Coast. She continued her training at Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts. She was placed in the highest level of dance studies by her senior year, and performed in various shows from her freshman to senior year. She was cast as a dancer in the dance drama “Touched” in 2012, written by Jeneane Gallo Huggins. At the age of 15 Michelle Mota began teaching classes of her own at The Pointe Dance Center. She has been teaching and choreographing for students of all ages for the past six years.
Mila is a former NFL cheerleader for the Washington Redskins. For Four consecutive years not only did she perform during game days, but also in Dominican Republic, Aruba, and Costa Rica. She also had the humbling opportunity to perform on three military appreciation tours in places like Afghanistan, Kuwait, UAE and many more. In her last season she had the privilege to be promoted as co-captain. While living in Maryland she was a performing arts major and member of multiple hip-hop dance crews. In March 2014 she decided to relocate to Las Vegas and became affiliated with High Profile Dance Company, Body Talk Entertainment, and Instrumental Bodies. In the summer of 2015 she hit the big screen and was able to perform in the Disney movie Anybody Can Dance 2! When she is not teaching Hip-hop, cheer, and musical theater here at The pointe Dance Center, she is a featured dancer at Foundation Room in the Mandalay Bay. Her goals now are not only to continue performing but to pursue acting and hopes to inspire others through the influence of art and communication.
Carlito is a triple threat performer from Georgia by way of New York City. He has earned credits in television, film, dance/choreography, acting, stage, music, production and modeling. As a performer Carlito has appeared in The Trust with Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood, 2013 & 2015 Soul Train Awards, TV1′s Fatal Attraction, Japan’s World Star Collabo with Naomi Watanabe, the Horror film Heidi, and National Geographic just to name a few. Dance wise, Carlito has worked with many famous choreographers including Frank Gatson Jr., America’s Next Best Dance Crew’s Jungle Boogie, Sean Bankhead, Kiki Ely, Corey J., and Jasmine Guy just to name a few. Thus far, Carlito has choreographed over 20 music videos, stage plays, events and flashmobs including working with CES, Soulija Boy’s Sbeezy shoe line, Organo Gold Coffee & Tea company, Dancers On Pointe(as seen on Apollo & 106th and Park), WNBA’s Atlanta Dream dance team, Noon VR, and Cupid’s Requiem starring Amber Chaney from the Hunger Games just to name a few. As a performer, he’s performed at various venues across the country, including the MGM Casino, Fremont Street, Phillips Arena, GA Dome, Madame CJ Walker Playhouse, Thomas & Mack Arena, 14th Street Playhouse, and The Tommy Wind Theater just to name a few. Born in Morioka City, Iwate, Japan.
Till the age of 17, she was an outstanding performer in a rhythmic gymnastics team.
After moving to Tokyo, she started learning performing arts (ballet, jazz dance, contemporary dance, tap dance, singing, acting) and embarked on her dance career.

At the young age of 4 years old, Cheyenne found her passion for dance. She began her dance training with private ballet lessons with Ms. Penny Guerard in a studio her father built in her home. At age 13 she moved to Las Vegas where she began competing on the Pointe Dance Center dance team and Nevada Ballet Theaters summer dance intensive. She later on attended Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts as a dance major learning new styles of dance such as contemporary and various styles of modern. Currently she dances with two local companies. A soloist with The Pink Tutu Ballet company performing in shows locally such as The Nutcracker and traveling to NYC to perform. Company dancer with Sample Dance performing in shows under artistic director Greg Sample. In the month of October you can find her dancing in the Freak Show at Frightdome CircusCircus. Soon she will be traveling to India to train and get certified as a yoga instructor. She has been an instructor with The Pointe Dance Center since 2010 and loves teaching all levels and sharing her passion for dance!
